Mindfulness & Meditation


These half-day workshops teach the well documented benefits of using mindfulness in your life, how it affects you both physically and mentally. During the workshop 

  • You’ll get clear on what mindfulness is, what it isn’t and what it can do for you

  • You'll learn some of the background of mindfulness, and

  • How it’s become as popular as it is with people of such varied backgrounds

  • We'll discover it’s many proven benefits

  • Most importantly you’ll learn how to practice mindfulness and how you can fit it into your busy schedule



Mindfulness Workshops are held at Hollytree Healing Centre, led by Angela Abbott. The Groups are small, friendly and informal

It has been suggested, and is now being backed up through medical research, that the practice of regular mindfulness through meditation, has a very positive effective on the physical and mental effects of prolonged stress, which can lead to worry, anxiety, panic attacks, difficulty with relationships, an inability to focus, particularly at work, problems with relationships, some addictions and more. It is an easy way to bring about peace of mind, wellbeing and calm, leading to a more energised and happier life.
